First, please, the 10/20/30 rule – or ideally, do better than that. Crucial content is not the words you’re going to read, and not an immense amount of data. Don’t FOMO that you’ve got to get everything in the Pitch Deck. You don’t. If the Pitch succeeds, you’ll have plenty of time to dig into verbose details.
Crucial content is actually quite simple. Just give us:
- The problem
- The solution
- The market (where the money is coming from!)
- The team (and why anyone should care)
- The how (tell us the plan for success)
That’s only 5 slides, giving you plenty of room to grow and elaborate.
